Online invoice payments: families pay by card through Stripe, and payouts land in your agency's own Stripe account. CareVieo charges a small platform fee on each successful online payment: 0.5% on Essentials and 0.25% on Growth, Scale and Enterprise, in addition to Stripe's standard processing fees. No platform fee applies to checks, cash, or other payments you record manually. If a payment is refunded, the platform fee is refunded proportionally.

Pricing FAQ

What happens if I go over my client limit?: Every paid tier bills overage instead of blocking you, so you keep serving clients without interruption: Essentials is $7.00/client past 22, Growth is $3.50/client past 50, Scale is $3.00/client past 150, and Enterprise is $2.50/client past your negotiated floor. Past roughly 46 clients, moving from Essentials to Growth costs less than paying Essentials overage — we'll show you that comparison inside the app.
Is the family portal ever an extra cost?: Never. It's included at every paid tier, unlimited — no per-seat charges, no add-on fees. Family engagement is core to retention, not a monetization lever.
Are there fees on online payments?: Yes. CareVieo charges a platform fee on each successful online card payment: 0.5% on Essentials and 0.25% on Growth, Scale and Enterprise. Stripe's standard processing fees are separate and charged to your account by Stripe. There's no platform fee on payments you record manually, and refunded payments get the platform fee back proportionally.
Can I change tiers anytime?: Yes. Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing — you'll only pay the difference for the days remaining in your current billing period.
Do you offer annual billing?: No. All plans are billed monthly, and you can change or cancel anytime.
